COMMUNITY OUTREACH

We don’t just have a vision for our church; we have a vision to bless our region!

Kalos Serve Week

November 11-17, 2024

November 11-17 is Kalos Serve Week! During our regular small groups days and times, we will be working on projects to serve and care for our community.

Not in a small group but want to participate?
Or looking for an opportunity for you or your family to participate in addition to our small group rhythm? We would love for you to join us! Review the opportunities below, submit your interest form, and we will contact you with details!

1. Create a no-sew blanket for an individual experiencing homelessness. This is in partnership with VisionHouse and includes simple instructions- crafting experience not required!

2. Create a gift basket giveaway for a Federal Way family attending Family Academy Night. Some examples of themes for the baskets can be: Movie Night, Crafts, Self-Care, Game Night, Baking/Cooking.

3. Create a gift basket for a family at Kalos Church. Gifts will be given to families participating in the Buddy Program.

4. Create holiday favor bags with snacks, stickers, and small activities for students supported by Bellevue LifeSpring.

When you serve, we encourage you to remember a couple things:

  • Be kind and quick to listen

  • Call people by name

  • Get eye level with people- bend down, take a knee, and sit with them

  • Pray- ask God to show you how to make known His beauty

Have a question? We’d love to hear from you!
