Why did you start a church in Bellevue?
The quick story? Our team scouted other cities and areas in addition to Seattle. Through a process of prayer, many conversations and exploring, we felt directed by God’s spirit to move to Bellevue! This is a growing community. It’s a big city with lots of people and diversity. As we thought about where we would want to raise our children and plant our roots, Bellevue felt right. There is a huge population here from all over the world exploring faith, and we think this is the perfect place to start making known the beauty of Jesus.
My child is still nursing or might need a diaper change, is there a place for us to go during service?
Yes. We have a specially draped-off room in our 6mo-4 yrs. room where there is a comfortable chair, changing table and many other accommodations for parents. As a rule, we don’t change diapers but will inform you via text if your child needs to be changed during service.
Are your children’s workers trained?
Absolutely. Every one of our children and security team members have all been background checked and trained to ensure that your little ones are in the best care during their services.
What should I expect the first time we attend Kalos with our kids?
Be prepared to spend a little extra time at check-in to provide our staff with the necessary information they will need to care for your children. Be prepared to give names, ages, allergies, and your contact information. We recommend showing up at least 15-20 minutes before service to check in and get everyone settle into their classes and parents and guardians settled into the adult service.
How can I help or be a part of Kalos Church?
You join our dream team, bring people or give financially. We realize this endeavor is bigger than any one person, and want to grow a team to make Kalos Church a reality.
